MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide today announced it has made an initial donation of $75,000 to assist in relief efforts for survivors of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. In addition, the company has created matching gifts programs for both its team members and guests who are members of the Hilton HHonors program, through which the company will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to an additional $350,000. The goal of these efforts is to raise more than $750,000 to support disaster relief and humanitarian organizations, including the American Red Cross, International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), International Medical Corps, Mercy Corps and Save the Children.
