Today, Canada’s top 10 Short Track Speed Skaters were nominated by Speed Skating Canada to vie for a spot on the Canadian Olympic Team at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games next February. The team consists of 11 gymnasts including 2012 Olympic all-around bronze-medalist Danell Leyva of Miami/Universal Gymnastics and 2012 Olympic teammates Jonathan Horton of Houston/Cypress Gymnastics, Jake Dalton of Reno, Nev./University of Oklahoma and John Orozco of the Bronx, N.Y./U.S. Olympic Training Center. Sponsored by Hilton HHonors, Team Hilton HHonors is a program that provides direct financial support to selected male gymnasts to help offset their training expenses while they pursue their Olympic dreams.
